Hi Friends! I need YOUR HELP!

This year I am joining several employees, and volunteers at Reston Interfaith to run in the 35th annual Marine Corps Marathon and help raise money for the Embry Rucker Community Shelter. This is a great event in our nation’s capital and will feature over 35,000 runners. My personal goal is raise $1,000 by October 1st!

As most of you know I’ve been doing a lot of work with Reston Interfaith and the Embry Rucker Community Shelter in Reston this past year. This has been an eye opening experience for me to say the least. Participating in this run, with your sponsorship will help support the mission of this worthy organization.

The Embry Rucker Community Shelter provides emergency housing for both homeless single individuals and families in our area. These services include emergency housing, childcare, re-housing assistances (that’s me), job placement, health and family services and much more. Much of this is done with the generous support of our community.
